IKEA’s New Smart Home Line Is Stylish and Shockingly Affordable
People’s day-to-day life can easily get bogged down by the little details, so it makes sense that they’ll turn to smart tech to make everyday living just a little bit easier. When it comes to smart tech, though, people often have to sacrifice style (and budget) for function—until now.
IKEA’s latest launch is unlike anything we’ve seen before, with smart tech designed to make connected living more accessible and aesthetically pleasing at a price point that can make everyone happy.
A New Chapter for Designer Home Tech
IKEA’s new line will feature over 20 brand-new smart home products that will seamlessly blend tech with style. The new collection is IKEA’s easiest-to-use range to date, with the goal being a line of products that adapt to people’s everyday challenges, while making homes more supportive for everyday life.
All of these products will be compatible with Matter, the universal smart home standard. Being compatible with Matter will allow IKEA devices—such as the NATTBADD Bluetooth Speaker—to work with devices from other brands as well for a seamless, flexible whole-home system. A compatible smart home hub, like IKEA’s upcoming DIRIGERA, will help it all come together.
“Until now, smart home technology hasn’t been easy enough to use for most people — or affordable enough for many to consider,” said David Granath, range manager at IKEA of Sweden, in a press release. “Our goal is to make the smart home easy to use, easy to understand, and within reach for the many.”

NATTBAD Bluetooth Speaker
IKEA
If you’re already dying to get your hands on one of IKEA’s latest products, you’re in luck: the first product of this collection has already launched.
The new NATBADD Bluetooth speaker has an old radio look with modern flair, with options in yellow, pink, and black. The speaker offers a low-price entry point into curating sound at home. NATBADD is built to work straight out of the box, and has features like easy multi-speaker set up and Spotify Tap—meaning no deep technical knowledge is needed to use it. With affordability and simplicity at the forefront, IKEA’s NATBADD already delivers.
“Our aim is to make sound accessible, functional, and enjoyable—without adding complexity,” Granath said. “That’s what sets us apart, and that’s what we’ll keep building on as we shape the next chapter of what sound can be in the home.”
IKEA’s smart home collection will officially launch in January 2026.
