Six more At Home store locations have hit the chopping block after the company filed for bankruptcy
At Home is adding six more stores to the list of closures after the company filed for bankruptcy.
The home decor retailer declared bankruptcy in June as a consequence of mounting concerns about unsustainable customs costs brought on by higher tariffs, rising borrowing rates, and “persistent inflation.” Consequently, At Home has already shut down six stores in the last 12 months. It planned to close 26 “underperforming” locations that would cease operations by September 30.
In July, USA Today reported that two of the original 26 stores are being saved from closure. But now, six more have hit the chopping block.
