Home Improvement Company Launches New Call Center in Boise

Home improvement company DaBella is excited to announce its call center in Boise. The new location will bring hundreds of jobs to the Treasure Valley.

“So at DaBella, we believe that quality begins at home,” said DaBella Chief Marketing Officer Bastian Cowsert. “We’re a home improvement company focusing on roofing, siding, windows, and bath. In 2015 we came to Boise and now we have an office in Twin Falls, Idaho Falls, and this is our call center that we’re expanding from 80 agents up to 300 agents, so we’re really excited to be here.”

DaBella has spent the last decade helping homeowners navigate the world of home improvement by guiding them through the process and providing free quotes and consultations.

“Most of the homeowners we work with, this the first time they’ve purchased a roof or done a big siding project or changed their windows, and if you don’t have a frame of reference, it can be kind of a scary investment, right?” said Cowsert. “You don’t know what can go wrong, what can go right, am I being priced high, am I being priced low? Why we’re so successful is we come in as more of a consultant and we treat our homeowners as friends and family and we walk them through the process.”

DaBella’s new call center in Boise will add around 300 new jobs starting next month.

“We put $4.5 million in labor last year, so there’s a tremendous opportunity for financial growth, but also leadership growth within the company,” said Cowsert. “Our employees are very important to us. We see success stories all the time, from this is their first job out of high school, first job out of college, they get their first apartment, they buy their first car, they get married, so we’re part of that journey.”

It’s a journey that many employees have called life-changing.

“They started me out as a dialer first, just calling homeowners, trying to set up appointments. I ended up doing really well at that and got promoted to supervisor, where I am now training those dialers that are calling homeowners,” said DaBella Call Center Supervisor Nick Tovar. “It has significantly changed my life in a positive light.”

“I was actually a full-time college student at Boise State, ended up finding the job and then stuck with it because I just loved it so much,” said Call Center Supervisor Lead Leila Sacirovic. “It went from call center agent, to assistant supervisor, from assistant supervisor to supervisor and then to call center shift lead, so four promotions in four years.”

“It has dramatically increased the amount of income that I have. It has dramatically increased the ability I have to pursue the life I want for myself and for my daughter as well,” said Call Center Supervisor Lead Samuel Emery. “We’re looking for aggressive and rapid growth. The opportunities were yesterday, they’re today, they’re tomorrow. We’re growing, we’re always expanding and anyone who’s willing to come in, work hard and be part of a really special culture and a really special environment, those opportunities are available right now.”

Some of those opportunities include the chance to give back through DaBella Cares.

“DaBella Cares is an initiative for us to give back to our communities. Last year, we fundraised with employees and through promotions $290,000 nationally to support different foundations,” said Cowsert. “We have a great opportunity here today to present a check to Camp Magical Moments, which is a local charity here in Boise.”

DaBella presented Camp Magical Moments with a check for $15,000.

“Camp Magical Moments is a summer camp for kids with cancer. Our camp is a good way for them to step away from whatever they’re going through. We take them to do things like rock climbing, crafts, singing, campfires, all sorts of fun stuff,” said camp counselor Ty Haws. “I think a donation like this is going to help the camp stay open, bus the kids around to different activities, be able to fund those fun crafts. We’re so grateful to DaBella for donating the money.”
