If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may want to head over to Lakeshore Mall anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, for the Highlands News-Sun’s 2026 Home Show.
Hosted by the Highlands News-Sun and Lakeshore Mall, the event will provide a place for more than 30 vendors to gather to provide information and answer questions for those looking at making home improvements — whether it is design and consulting, structural improvements, interior work or work on the exterior of your home.
McPhail’s Auto Sales is the title sponsor of Saturday’s Home Show.
The Highlands News-Sun created this event, which was introduced last year, to provide professional services, inspiring ideas, and entertainment to the community. This event is specifically geared towards home improvement.

“Today’s event at Lakeshore Mall is all about bringing our community together. Larry McCandless will perform at Center Stage at 11 a.m., followed by Rachel Burton at 12 p.m., Nicole McGrath at 1 p.m., and Erica White will close out the afternoon with a performance at 2 p.m. Heartland Events Group will be taking care of the stage production.
Bingo, sponsored by Simmons Solid Surface, will be offered in the former Bath and Body Works storefront. Games will be played at the top of every hour starting at 10 a.m. with the final game set for 2 p.m. Must be 18 to play. Cash prizes range from $50-$75.
Lakeshore Mall is at 901 U.S. 27 North in Sebring.
