In October 2025, pop punkers Mayday Parade released the second of its trilogy albums. Sad features a striking album cover that steers in a different direction to the Florida quintet’s previous works. Designed by art director and producer Benjamin Lieber, the album art uses a picture frame as the placeholder, with a colorful bouquet of pink flowers — designed by his florist wife — in the center.
Colby T. Helms – Tales of Misfortune
Colby T. Helms’ January 2024 release, Tales of Misfortune, features stunning cover art that could be mistaken for a piece taken from a high-end art gallery. The semi-autobiographical debut record delves into the 22-year-old’s teenage years growing up in rural Southwest Virginia.
The Ting Tings – Home
Greater Manchester-based pop duo The Ting Tings released its soft-rock/yacht-rock-inspired album, Home, on June 6, 2025. The band worked with Gibson Master Artisan Rickie Hinrichsen to design an album cover that encapsulates the sounds and themes of the record. The result? An original hand-carved album cover that features a hummingbird, intricate flowers and a wood-burned track listing on the back.
The Blues Brothers – The Blues Brothers: The Lost Recordings
Fans of The Blues Brothers can get their hands The Blues Brothers: The Lost Recordings, an exclusive album featuring 13 unreleased live versions of blues classics including “Hey Bartender,” “Rubber Biscuit” and “Green Onions.” The album, designed with a playful cartoon-style cover, will be available exclusively as a Royal Blue-colored vinyl release, packaged together with an original graphic novel that serves as a sequel to the iconic 1980 movie. Available to pre-order, the album and novel will ship in January 2026.
Hayley Williams – Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party
In August 2025, Hayley Williams surprised fans with the release of Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party. Originally released as over a dozen standalone singles, Williams worked with creative designer and brand strategist Jordan Short on both the singles and album artwork. The latter features a black and white portrait of the singer with a yellow square overlay.
The Maine – XOXO: Live
Arizona rockers The Maine released XOXO: Live, a limited-edition live album featuring its latest and greatest hits performed at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix. The vinyl features an interpretation of the XOXO: From Love and Anxiety in Real Time album cover depicted as a stage spotlight.
Lily Allen – West End Girl
Lily Allen made her return to music in a big way with the release of West End Girl in October 2025. The album artwork was designed by artist Nieves González, who described the cover as a dialogue between painting and music, between intimacy and light. “This project was born with love, between Andalucía and London, and it’s been such a gift to accompany an artist as inspiring as Lily,” González wrote in the caption of an Instagram post.
Joan – this won’t last forever
Alt-pop duo joan released its second album this won’t last forever in September 2025. Formed in 2017 by Steven Rutherford and Alan Benjamin Thomas, they remain at the center of all the creative efforts of the band — including the new album’s artwork. The cover art, which features a person beside a lake hugging an ethereal figure, is a poignant design that goes hand in hand with the theming and inspirations behind the lyrics and album title.
